The New York Mets sue SpongeTech
The Mets are suing a major advertiser they claim bounced $400,000 in checks.
The Mets also want SpongeTech, makers of a soap-filled sponge, to pay $2.3 million for the remaining two years of an ad contract for Citi Field.
SpongeTech fell behind in payments last fall and the Mets gave the company five days to pay up, a suit says. Two checks - for $100,000 and $300,000 - bounced.
Wellstar International is now OTCBB: WLSID

Cord Blood America signs letter of intent with BioCell
This came out on January 6 but its a nice reminder that CBAI continues to go up and shows signs of being for real: Cord Blood America, the umbilical cord blood stem cell preservation company, has signed a letter of intent to process and store cord blood specimens for BioCells, headquartered in Argentina, and its affiliates in Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Panama and Puerto Rico.

China's vaccine sector will grow 25 percent annually, according to a report from Zero2IPO, a Chinese venture-capital firm. In 2012, the size of the market will reach "8 billion yuan", the report said.
Attracted by the growing vaccine market, "investors from home and abroad will be piling into China", said Zheng Yufen, senior manager for healthcare at the investment banking division of Zero2IPO.
China is the world's largest vaccine manufacturer, and most of the companies in the sector are privately owned.
Nationwide, China has over 40 vaccine manufacturers. Other than State-owned companies like Shanghai-listed Tiantan Biological Products and US-listed Sinovac Biotech, many of China's vaccine makers are private and still small in size. "Money is their biggest concern when they plan to expand," said Zheng.
In 2009, a batch of international pharmaceutical firms entered the vaccine sector through mergers and acquisitions. In late 2009, Novartis International AG, the world's sixth largest pharmaceutical company said it agreed to acquire an 85-percent stake in a Zhejiang-based private vaccine producer.

Great news for CYCC on Thursday and it will be curious to see what happens to the stock on Friday. Some people on message boards are saying it will reach $5 or more. We'll see. ChromoCure (Pink Sheets: KKUR) now at 0.0007
ChromoCure (Pink Sheets: KKUR) is gaining a lot of attention from those looking for "the next HTDS": a sub-penny stock that shoots up from nearly 0.0001 to 0.0050 and beyond. I think its certainly worth a look and congratulations to those who already got into KKUR.ChromoCure issued some very positive news the other day (ChromoCure Announces Mayo Clinic Research Confirms Its Technology and Chromosomal Basis of Cancer) and the company will be breaking ground on a new facility in Florida during the first quarter of 2010.
Other cheap stocks to look at would be LLBO and WLSI (which will be doing a R/S soon).

Breakout Alert For Cord Blood America (OTC:CBAI)
